1.
Online application form for consular authentication (original)
All application submitted to Department of External Relations HCMC has to be declared online in advance. A registration code will be generated and the applicant will have to print out this online application form and present it at the counter.
2.
Passport or Vietnamese ID card (original)
(of the applicant who directly submitting the documents) to present at the counter
1.
Certified copy of certificate of incorporation (original + Simple copy)
The copy is to be kept by Consular Department.
2.
Vietnamese or English version of certificate of incorporation (original + Simple copy)
if document is not in either of these languages. The translator must take responsibility by signing on the translation and providing personal info (full name, ID/Passport number, address, phone) and agree to a statement which will attest to the accuracy and the integrity of the total translation. The copy is to be kept at Consular Department.
3.
Certified copy of latest audited financial report (original + Simple copy)
The copy is to be kept at Consular Department.
4.
Vietnamese or English version of latest audited financial report (original + Simple copy)
if document is not in either of these languages. The translator must take responsibility by signing on the translation and providing personal info (full name, ID/Passport number, address, phone) and agree to a statement which will attest to the accuracy and the integrity of the total translation. The copy is to be kept at Consular Department.
For individual investors:
1.
Certified copy of bank statement (original + Simple copy)
The copy is to be kept at Consular Department.
2.
Vietnames or English version of bank statement (original + Simple copy)
if document is not in either of these languages. The translator must take responsibility by signing on the translation and providing personal info (full name, ID/Passport number, address, phone) and agree to a statement which will attest to the accuracy and the integrity of the total translation. The copy is to be kept at Consular Department.
If the applicants want to submit documents and receive result via post, supplement:
1.
Passport or Vietnamese ID card (Simple copy)
of applicant who submitting the documents via post
2.
Two envelopes
1 enclosed with consular legalization fee and fee for returning dossier by post in accordance with regulations of post company .
1 is stamped and has recipient's address written on.

Additional information
- Online registration form can be completed at DER office with the guidance of DER's officers.
- Should authentication of documents/materials submitted for legalization be required, the applicants shall be requested to present the relevant original documents/materials and 01 copy of such documents/materials.
